hey guys having some trouble with a FreeRadius server. Hope somebody can help out.
Here is the setup: Ubuntu machine running FreeRadius -> Wireless AP -> laptop using SecureW2 I have setup the freeradius server and the AP and they interact with each other. The problem i am having is when i try to connect my laptop to it. It does not authenticate my laptop. Here is the debug information that the server shows me. I can not figure out what is wrong with it though..... rad_recv: Access-Request packet from host 192.168.100.125 port 1024, id=5, length=173 User-Name = "root" NAS-IP-Address = 127.0.0.1 NAS-Identifier = "www.teletronics.com" NAS-Port = 0 Called-Station-Id = "00-0D-F5-12-3D-8C:teletronics2" Calling-Station-Id = "00-60-B3-00-EE-BF" Framed-MTU = 1400 NAS-Port-Type = Wireless-802.11 Connect-Info = "CONNECT 0Mbps 802.11" EAP-Message = 0x0203000901726f6f74 Message-Authenticator = 0xd0c444b29cdf203715623e1f8811aae1 +- entering group authorize {...} ++[preprocess] returns ok ++[chap] returns noop ++[mschap] returns noop [suffix] No '@' in User-Name = "root", looking up realm NULL [suffix] No such realm "NULL" ++[suffix] returns noop [eap] EAP packet type response id 3 length 9 [eap] No EAP Start, assuming it's an on-going EAP conversation ++[eap] returns updated ++[unix] returns updated ++[files] returns noop ++[expiration] returns noop ++[logintime] returns noop [pap] Found existing Auth-Type, not changing it. ++[pap] returns noop Found Auth-Type = EAP +- entering group authenticate {...} [eap] EAP Identity [eap] processing type md5 rlm_eap_md5: Issuing Challenge ++[eap] returns handled Sending Access-Challenge of id 5 to 192.168.100.125 port 1024 EAP-Message = 0x010400160410e628ca372a73262d4a0e20b051656312 Message-Authenticator = 0x00000000000000000000000000000000 State = 0xf6bdf907f6b9fd55968c9ee9cf06620f Finished request 1.
