Question just to check

ok so im new at this whole build you own computer thing and ive compiles a list of components to build my own computer but im not sure if its all compatable or if im getting all i can out of my computer. im trying to build a decent gaming tower for less than $2,500.

If your running a Video card, theres no point getting a board with onboard Video.

Save a few bucks and get the X4 955, both overclock about the same.

Power Supplies. Go with PC Power & Cooling/ Corsair or Silverstone.

And get a Seagate 7200.12 Drive.

hmm im just reading reviews on both, if you are going to overclock you should probally go 17 920, but stock to stock people say the run about the same

stranglehold is correct, you dont need the onboard.

why not go

you know what forget that last post about the PSU, i didnt realize they even made 2gb video cards, and your going to sli them? id have to see the minimum requirements first

Yes everything else will work. I would go with G Skill Ripjaw memory.

Looks good, I would still change the memory to G Skill Ripjaw. Have you though about instead of running two 4870 in Crossfire of just getting a 5850?
