Ripjaws F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH
WD Caviar Black WD6401AALS
ASUS GeForce GTX 275 vs. ATI 5xxx graphic card

X58 is essetially the same price. PC Power & Cooling all the way, best 750W on the market(Seasonic internals). X58 is triple channel memory, 32 lanes total pcie, and more pins for voltage delivery. The Coolermaster 690 is the best case for the price. P55 for i7 is a waste of time and money imo, X58 is maybe $50 more if you go with decent stuff and far better overall:

Mobo:

Or a few bucks more and better:

CPU:

Memory:

For GPU Definately get a 5850 or 5870.

Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it.
New? Dont forget to read the rules. Heatware
P.M. If interested in Shin Etsu X23-7783D

IMO, I won't say I7 with P55 is waste of money if running single video card. It save money on mobo. I would definately downgrade to the $125 Gigabyte mobo instead of that $170 Asus.

If you are after cheap X58, I personally would suggest $160 Asrock instead of Foxconn, purely due to the function Asrock offer

Asrock are super low end boards, they are the low end division of asus. The foxconn is the best X58 board in the price range, far better than asrock's offerings.
