I have a Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer soundcard, Sony 50mm Extra Bass Headphones and my sound settings are on 24 bit 192000 Hz. What else can I do to improve sound quality (i dont want speakers)

Do much 192k recording? Switch it to 44.1 for cd's and 48k for dvds - all your doing at 192 is degrading the quallity - what's 44.1 scaled up to 192? It aint a round number that's for sure. Change it to whatever you want and there's still only 44100 samples of audio per second on a cd.
