This is my first post, although I've been lurking around the forums trying to soak up some of the great information on this site (particularly impressed with guys like bomberboy and bodaggit -- you guys know your stuff!). After some bad recent experiences with some HP's and Dell's, I've decided to take the plunge and try to build my own, and would love any thoughts/suggestions/improvements to my list.

Quick background on what I'm looking for: I'm not a gamer (hence no radeon 58xx), but I do do a fair amount of HD video capture and editing, and watching movies. This computer will be my workhorse for the house, and above all I'm looking for speed and reliability. The list:
