Default Avg 9.0 free update needs reset?

hey guys, I'm using AVG 9.0 free version. Today I noticed that the update manager says "The update needs reset" I'm not sure what that means, I have looked everywhere and can not seem to find the answer. If you could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
