Hey guys,

Well, about 18 months ago I built my own computer and was pretty happy about it. Now, things are somewhat going wrong and I am feeling its time to upgrade. I am having a display problem that is very annoying. Computer boots up perfect, but NO display. This has been happening for the past 4 weeks. I get CMOS Checksum errors, and recently a few "CPU not findable" or something of that matter.

Here is my current budget build:
ABIT IP35-E LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel E4500 CPU
NVIDIA EVEGA 8800GS 384MB
Corsair 450w PS
Crucial Ballistix 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
PHILIPS 20X DVD±R DVD Burner 2-Tone SATA Model

She runs pretty good, however I bought her about 2 years ago and I don't need to go into detail about how outdated this system is....hell ABIT isn't even in the game anymore.

Considering I am probably going to have to "go through the motion" trying to fix this display problem (MB, video card, CPU...) I think it's time to get a new system going.

My budget is about 900 dollars. I already have a nice case, and would like to keep my hard-drive and cd burner. The ram is crap, I have heard horror stories with this brand. CPU is 2.2ghz dual core.....outdated. Motherboard isn't even manufactured anymore....

I listen to music, watch videos, and surf the web. I play CS:Source and with this rig normally get 80-90fps constant. I was playing a few other newer games and the performance is pretty decent. However, 2 years is like 10 in this computer age....so let's see what you guys can do for me lol. I actually build this last PC from recommendations FROM YOU GUYS, and was VERY happy.
