Exclamation Help someones controlling my pc!!!

The address bar on any internet browser on the computer is automatically routing me to a google search of whatever website destination is typed

So if ebay.com is typed in the address bar, (this is not the search bar next to it, this is definately the address bar) the next site you get is a google search results page for a search of that website..

This is so annoying,

ive tried to clear my cache and private date, also cookies. i have norton antivurus 2008 that hasnt found anything!

I had a similar issue. It ended up being a problem with the DNS servers I was using, which I changed to fix it. Try typing in, say http://www.ebay.com and see if that takes you to ebay. My problem was whenever I typed in say ebay or ebay.com it would take me to an msn search result page that was powered by my ISP. Hope that helps.

Can you post a hijackthis log? If it works, at least we know what we are dealing with. Try running malwarebytes in safe mode as well.

^^Same as John said
Try running MalwareBytes in safe mode

Tap F8 before boot screen appears and select safe mode.
