Hey everyone, I decided that since I have 2 computer laying around that I might as well make on of them useful and build it, and throw out the other one. The 2 computers that I will be working with is a Gateway, and my old Desktop that was built for me awhile ago. Both have issues so I figured I can probably solve one by the other's parts.
So here's the plan: 1. Use the Gateway case since its a little bigger then the other, plus my other one isn't in the best of shape. 2. Use the motherboard from the other computer since the Gateway's I believe is shot. 3. I'm going take the memory from the Gateway and add it to the other, because the other is running slow so I think it needs more memory 4. If the gateway hard drive matches with the other I will use that at the same time since its only 20GB Do you guys see any problem with any of this? Anything I need to know about swapping parts? I never done anything like this before. Also what is a good paint to paint the case? I want to paint it black.
