Default Proxy removal off harddrive

Hi guys
Ive got a laptop and its got some software or proxy server on it so you cannot access certain sites. I have tried removing the programs through control panel but it automatilcally closes the uninstall window. I also am not sure if i am uninstalling the right program, would Bluecoat proxy client be the thing thats stopping me from accesing the sites? If anyone has any suggestions to remove the programs it would be great thanks

What kind of laptop is it? What kind of sites are being blocked. Sorry, but certain (well essentially all) threads regarding proxies are not allowed. It seems if such a block were loaded on the laptop there's probably a reason you shouldn't be accessing the sites.

I'm guessing that your parents got you the computer and they don't want you visiting those sites so just live with it
