Default Keyboard error or no keyboard present

I took out an old computer from my closet because I had some project for it. But when I tried to start it, i got the following message: "Keyboard error or no keyboard present" even thought I had one plugged in. I thought it was my keyboard cause some pin were missing on my keyboard connector, so i borrowed a keyboard and tried it. Still the same problem, so I bought a usb card and plugged in a usb keyboard and still got the same problem. Any idea of where the problem comes from and how I could solve it?

Thanks,

Cope
