Ubuntu 8.10 is a very good operating system. I can't wait until they release Ubuntu 9.10. Streaming movies off the Internet from Netflix doesn't work with Linux Ubuntu presently and the DVD player I use doesn't work well with my video card. Other than the old video games I play on occasion I use Ubuntu for a lot of activity on my system.

I'm loving Vista x64, but I'm expecting 7 x64 to get here any day now, and I bet it's going to be even better

I think it is overpriced to charge $110 for Windows 7. The price will probably come down on Windows 7 in the near future but not near what I think is fair. In my opinion I believe a fair price for an operating system is $75.

I got my Windows Vista 32-bit for $70. I hope to not have to buy another Windows operating system for several years as I think the 4 gigabyte RAM limitation in my operating system won't hold me back for a few more years.
