My computer crashed
and so I thought in this economy I would fix it. Laugh later, please help. Ok, so I had the motherboard serviced, then ordered a new hard drive. Now I sit with a "dumb" computer. I can handle that, except Gateway won't talk to me. Here is what I have now: Gateway M360 (purchased in 2005) with a "new" motherboard and a Western Digital hard drive that won't talk. I want to reload the restoration cds with Windows XP. What do I need and how do I do it? I think of myself as a fast learner, but please be patient with me. So is this a challenge or are you still laughing that I got myself into this mess. I know you all are really good. (sucking up, LOL ) I don't know how much more info you need so just ask. Thanks ever so much for reading and hope someone has an answer.
