Default Latest ultra-slims

I am seeking one of the latest powerful reduced cost "sexy" ultra-slim laptops I have read about on the internet but can't find in WA. When are they coming here?

I work on my laptop all day (use second screen in the office) and carry it with me on appointments/ overseas so want something very lightweight (and good looking- yet powerful). Low cost, ultra-portable.

Like to use dreamweaver/ photo manipulation programme-usually use photoshop (but may downgrade as have photoshop on other wirelessly networked computer)/ power point and run videos.

From my research it seems they are only available in UK and USA- is it worth importing them? I would rather see them in the shop.. but it doesn't seem possible. Can buy on Amazon- is this a good idea? What tax will I have to pay and how long - the site says 1-2 months!!

ANY IDEAS ON WHERE I CAN GO TO VIEW AND TRY THE LATEST LAPTOPS?

Seeking 13-14"
lightweight
white/silver (sorry- from a girls' perspective this is important)
Dedicated/good graphics
3-4GB memory
good battery life (8+) pref.
Windows 7- business pref.

Budget approx $1000-1500

I have looked at 2 at moment that might be within budget and have specs I want:

MSI X-Slim X340
1.3kg
good battery life 10 hrs
Expandable to 4GB

Asus UL Series:

ASUS UL30-X3 $approx 800 US
13.3"
Brushed Alum
Good speakers
Graphics boost ded/int graph capabilities
low voltage ULV processor
Expandable to 4GB
battery life 10-12hrs they say
heaps of other features

I Like LG/ MSI/ Asus models
Any feedback would be appreciated

Review here.
Advantages over those 2 you mention - already get dvd burner build in.

You could also look into an X-Series Thinkpad from Lenovo.
