Default Sony Vegas 9 Pro

Hey guys

I'm having a problem with Sony Vegas 9 pro.
When i add a video clip(from a camcorder)that also contains audio, I drag it into the time-line of the project, and lets say the video clip is 1 minute and includes audio (voice) but I want to cut 30 sec out of the VIDEO ONLY. When i select the clip to be cut, it also does the same thing to the audio and visa-versa , so what ever i do to the the video or audio, it does it to both, and i don't want that.

Thanks for reading this and/or replying.
