So I am a "noob" when it comes to whats inside a computer.
I need a brand spankin' new one because my current one is 5 years old and not able to play some of the games I want. I do know that I want enough hard drive space to keep all my music, movies, and games on. So I'm thinking 500 GB will be enough, if not more than I need. As for gaming, I'm going to be playing mainly CS:S, Day of Defeat: Source, Battlefield 2, CoD 4, and Microsoft Flight Sim X. I don't really need these to be run at maximum graphics settings. Like any gamer though, my game choices will only expand as time goes on. I figured 4 GB is fine for gaming, and messing around with photoshop while playing music and such, and all that other good multitasking stuff. Is the care packaging and "professional wiring" and that stuff really necessary? Or am I just wasting money there? My budget is set at $700 including the $30 shipping. Feel free to change stuff and suggest whatever.
