Default American Muscle or Japanese Import

Just finished watching "Fast & Furious" the latest one with Vin Diesel, excellent movie, the one without him was garbage in my opinion.
Anyhow one dude in the movie made this comment "American beats import every time" that was after Vin Diesel won his race in an American muscle car.
So what is your personal preference? We do not have many american muscle cars here, but even if there was, I still prefer a Japanese Import.

American muscle cars can go fast in a straight line. That's about it. Terrible handling, too heavy, stiff suspension, clunky, and poor braking.

I'll take a Subura Impreza (or most European or Japanese rally cars) over any American muscle car, except for the Corvett Z06.

Take out the cost of fuel and such and such, I would love an American Muscle car, or even an older Australian muscle (yes we had them... once).
Like a 1970 Holden Monaro ooooo yea.

I would really like a Mustang GT350 (or GF500 ) myself.
not as an everyday car, but it would be really nice to have I think.

I dont like Nissans/Honda/Mitsubishi's etc. I dont know, I jsut dont like how they look.
I dont really care THAT much about performance.
yes, its somewhat important to me, but I'd prefer a car that looks good and that I really like rather than one with better performance with a model I dont care about.

PS: I also Love that new Monaro Bathurst. super loud whining supercharger, and that stripe across the bonnet make it really cool imo. ^_^

Ooo yes Mustang, what a brilliant car, but I know this may seem cliche or something, I would rather the Shelby GT500, just because they are so niice.

And I didn't know the Monaro was still being built? Maybe just the Holden versions or something were discontinued??
