I unfortunately cannot identify this spider on my porch. Unfortunately it is dark and my camera cannot get a good picture because I cant get close enough. So I'll try to describe it.
Its rather big, probably between a quarter and half dollar size in full spread. Fat body, tan in color with some red visible; however it is most definitely not a brown widow (red back) spider. Its legs are striped. It seems to have a rough texture. Conical shaped "butt." I don't really want to kill it, but I will if I have to. (ie it comes inside). Oh, in other news, I saw a Gecko at work today. Tiny little thing. No it didn't try to sell me insurance. :-p |
