Default Screen is bigger than monitor

Hello,
I just got 3 new 22" Dell monitors and Im having some problems. My video cards are a kinda old, its Radeon 9000 and Radeon 7000, the drivers are up to date(i think 2006), and the problem is that when i set resolution to 1920x1080 the screens become bigger than monitor. I mean when i drag the mouse on the screen, the screen itself starts to drag. The dell minitor resolution is 1920x1080 and I dont know why it does not fit? Can someone help me with that? bdw the screen is sliding up and down left and right, With one monitor it works ok, but other doesnt, why?

Thank you

Default

according to the specs on the site the 1280x1080 is the only supported resolution listed for the Radeon 9000 that has a "16:9" next to it.

My 22" Dell is 1680x1050 btw, try setting it to that.
