I just replaced the hard drive in my HP Pavillion dv6000. I managed to get in and running with Vista Home Premium installed. The only thing is it that Vista is running in a very graphics reduced way and restarts frequently without any prompt. The taskbar and side bar are grey along with all the windows that pop up. The hard drive I installed is a 500GB Seagate Momentus but when I look under my drives it only shows C: as being 24gb with only 3 being left after Vista installs. Any idea or help with this?

Doesn't sound like you partitioned it correctly and you need to install all the correct drivers after you install the OS. Sounds like you need the video driver installed to give you the correct resolution and colors you need.
