Uninstall and reinstall the latest version!

It is free, after all!

If you did a fresh install, you would know the answer to your own question, no?

Anyway, before you uninstall, click on Bookmarks, Organize Bookmarks, Import and Backup, Export HTML. Select your Desktop and click Save.

Uninstall Firefox.

Next, delete this folder if it still exists after uninstalling:
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

Also delete this folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\Mozilla

Now, reinstall Firefox.

To get your bookmarks back:
Click on Bookmarks, Organize Bookmarks, Import and Backup, Import HTML, select Import Bookmarks from an HTML file, Next, click on your Desktop and find the bookmarks.html file, click Open.
