Hi guys, need a little help here, this is driving me nuts, and it makes t/s impossible.

I recently just got back onto my desktop and re-installed the latest drivers for my 4870x2, 9.10 CCC from the ATI website.

I went to detect display from the display manager and initially connected fine at a very poor resolution for a moment than my t.v. (westinghouse 37 inch widescreen) stated invalid format, at which time my desktop monitor (westinghouse 22inch) went black as well. Both displays would not display any image but the computer was just fine. The only way I could get back a visual display is by disconnecting the hdtv and rebooting the PC.

I am connected by the component adapter that came with the card. ( http://www.aerocooler.com/shop.cart?...prod_id=CBL9SV ) sort of like the one in the link. I believe it is an issue with the drivers or a new method of configuring this display set up is needed since my wife's computer has a x1900xtx with an older set of drivers and I can connect just fine.

Anyone else have issues or any ideas, I hope I am just being dumb and this can be resolved quickly, I am ticked!

BTW, I tried to use driver sweeper and clean off the drivers and re-install, same issue.
