I'm thinking of getting a SSD for my operating system. A couple things
concern me. 1) I hear that some SSD are slower than regular HDD. 2) I hear when SSD becomes near-full, they slow down CONSIDERABLY. Has there been some new SSD that fixed this problem? 3) The life expectancy. I hear that SSD can only write a total of 10,000 times? I had my last HDD for over 7 years and it's still going. Will I get even 5 years of use out of a SSD?
