Default Ways to avoid import tax?

So, I had some guitar pedals sent to me from the US and I got a letter from the NZ post office saying that I have to pay $75 in GST to get the package. I didn't have to pay the tax last time I had something sent here. Anyone know how to get around that???

Yeah, you could have it sent as a gift next time, however that usually is considered mail fraud iirc. Any item above a certain dollar amount is charged customs tax unless it is a gift.

Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it.
New? Dont forget to read the rules. Heatware
