Default Outlook Express 6 will not send mail

I have had outlook express running for years, as well as outlook, and last week both stopped sending mail. I solved outlooks problem by changing port 25 to 587 but it doesn't work on OE. Below is the message I receive.
The host 'smtp.comcast.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'smtp.comcast.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11004, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D
Thanks

Sorry, but...

Incoming server is mail.comcast.net
Outgoing server is smtp.comcast.net

Make sure that the outgoing server is set for "my server requires authentication"

I have comcast and have no problems sending/receiving mail using Outlook Express.

I knew it was something stupid I was missing, don't know how it got changed. I still had to change the port to 587 though.

Thanks to all.
