Default Have "Security Tool" Virus

Hey I think I have that "Security Tool" virus, it pops up sometimes, and my computer been doing strange things, like when I click links it takes me somewher else and stuff. So I downloaded "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" and updated and ran it but as soon as I click "Scan" and it scans for 1 second it closes and I can never open the program again, so I went to download "HijackThis" and as soon as I click scan and save log file it closes and I cant get back in it, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with different .exe names but I could never get it to load again after the initial scan. So what can I do to remove this?

boot into safe mode, then run malwarebytes again.
