Default Wireless printing?

Are there any other ways to make a printer wireless besides using printer share between computers, connecting to a wireless router, or using a wireless printer server? I have an HP deskjet D4260 printer and want to make it wireless so I don't have to connect it to my laptop every time I want to print.

It's just like you said, either need a wireless printer or a print server hooked up to the router. Or you can share it on a desktop computer but then that computer would have to remain on whenever you want to print.

If those are the only ways then how exactly does a wireless printer server work?

The print server gets hooked up to the router and then the printer gets established an ip address and thats how its able to print.

Well that makes no difference for me if I would have to plug it into my router. I guess I will just plug it in every time I want to print.
