Default want to upgrade card

i have an 8700m gt. when i ordered i should have got two and had sli from the get go but i didnt, now i cant find a second one. i called alienware and asked if there was a new card i could buy to replace it but i got the runaround. its an m9750 its 14months old and i already cant find parts for it. so is there another card i can buy that is better and will work. when i upgraded my desktop i bought a card put it in and all was fine but the tech made it sound like if it didnt come from them it wasnt gonna happen. im interested in highend cards maybe two. what do i need, and how to hook it (them) up? thanks all let me know if you need more info

There is no real standard with laptop video cards. Most laptop video cards are either integrated (even "dedicated" cards may be non-removable) or model specific. Your best bet would probably be to find them in broken laptops like yours off ebay. Aside from that, I doubt you'll really be able to find cards for the machine.
