Alright, so I was watching a video on my computer in fullscreen mode, and the screen started to get fuzzy, kind of like what you see on a TV on an empty input. This happened once before, and a simple manual restart worked, well this time, after the Vista loading screen, a CHKDSK scan shows up, and pretty much forces me to scan it, since it says push any key to get out, but no key works, but to get past my BIOS info screen, I have to push a key..
So, I'm a little afraid to persue the scan, since CHKDSK was what messed my other drive up before.. Any ideas?

Checkdisk wont hurt your system. Sounds like a hardware problem. I would start testing the obvious parts to see if they work. Every computer goes through a POST power on self test and re-writes a log every time your computer starts up. If you can find that then you will know if a hardware issue is going on. If the log contains no errors then its your software. I would also recommend that you download say malwarebytes with the link here on the forum and update it then run a scan. Maybe a potential virus.

Run all antivirus programs, defrag your drive, run chkdsk, clean up old files, uninstall any programs you don't use. do all of these and your problem should go away. if not then it's time for a reformat... be sure to back up important data like personal files/drivers.

Thanks guys. I ended up running repair mode with the Vista DVD, and that fixed it, so. Though I plan on running scans and cleaning up a bit.
Could it be a potential drive failure? I ran a quick HDTune scan, and it came back fine. Thanks.
