Default Looking for good soild Socket 1366 board

Like title says I'm looking for a solid 1366 board. Don't care about the SAS hook ups cause I want be using it and will only be using one video card. Any suggestion appreciated and would help if you let me know why you think it's a solid board. Thanks

Take a look at the GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R Motherboard. Out of the motherboards I have owned Gigabyte has impressed me the most for its quality.

Second that... I have that GA-EX58-UD3R. While I find the bios layout/wording to be rather confusing when compared to my old Asus, the board itself seems top notch. Build quality is great and it's been very stable running my i7 920 at 3.33GHz.

Just let it be known that it has a 3+1 channels for RAM. Triple Channel + single channel can limit some expansion needs if a person wants to add alot of RAM.

If you start at 6 GB - and have a desire later on to add 3 or 6 more GB in triple channel mode - you can't add a second set of triple channel RAM.

I don't have a price range and I will eventually need to run more than 6 gigs of ram . So with taht being the case is their another board besides the GA-EX58-UD3R and the Asus P6T deluxe which I have now and is a piece of crap.

Yeah, that 4th slot confused me a little when I first saw it, but I don't expect to upgrade personally... Though seeing as I already ran out of ram once...

I was considering the UD3P - Took me a while too. I was like WTF????

I wanted the option to upgrade - b/c you never know what the future holds - so went with the UD4P - but I can't recommend it - b/c the board has been discontinued. You can still buy it on Amazon through a seller - but I can't find it anywhere else in stock.

I almost didn't get it because of the ram... Is it only dual channel... Why have another... Well I'm happy with my board now. And yes, it's triple channel
