I might as well just add to this post: I am trying to connect a LaserDisc player to my Happague 2250 and it isn't working. I have plugged in the yellow RCA cable(composite video) and have searched for channels with WinTV and it shows channel 73 as being the composite video channel but when I tune to 73 it just shows a blue screen, no video. I would really love to get this think working, there is no reason why it shouldn't be.

Google 'dscaler' and download that program. Its easy to select the input you want then record from it.

Its prettey sweet you have a laser disc player though!

Yea it's extremely awesome, I love it already(and it doesn't even work yet).. But I downloaded that DScaler program and selected my tuner as the input and it said failed to connect because the source wasn't right.

Did you try to select any other inputs? I had a dual input one and they were not labeled the way I woild have thought. You could have a bad tuner too, have you tried downloading newest drivers?

Allllright, what did it was using a s-video converter. Apparently one came with my tuner but I didn't even realize it. I don't know why they even have these other inputs if they don't work but it's all good now, got it working. Thanks!
