Default HDD Setup

Ok, im wondering, what kind of setup should I get for hard drives. I was looking at the Western Digital VelociRaptors and, they might be good and that, but I don't know price is something to consider AND I read that they don't last that much.

Should I look into those Solid State Disks?

Should I buy TWO VelociRaptors and put them in RAID 0?

Any help will be apreciated. I'd like to know some information about all the options I have and as a casual gamer, what's perfect for me.

Im a guy who plays some games and surfs the internet alot.

I would just get a couple of Seagates 7200.12 or Western Digital Black drives.

if you're putting the drive in a desktop... i don't think its worth paying for a solid state drive... they are great for laptops because they are durable. I have WD 7200rpm drives and don't find them slow at all... i guess i'm not picky enough to need velociraptor drives. what do you use now?

You'll be fine with any drive as long as it is 7200RPM or higher. The average user will not really need/see the speed increase.
