Default Looking for P&S Camera

I'm looking for a cheap point and shoot camera. Main use is to be convenient for parties, going out, etc. cause I don't always want to bring my S1500 with me everywhere. Any ideas? I was kinda looking at this Sony Cybershot on Newegg.

Looks like Sony likes how Canon arranges buttons and controls, they're kinda copying it lol.

But yeah that looks like a nice camera. If I were you, I would save about $50 more and get a little higher end like the Canon SD1200 or something.

The thing is I don't wana spend that much for a P&S. Like I said, it'll be mainly for "on the go" and frat parties.

Canon just put out the new SX 120 IS that is a little bit bigger than your standard P&S, but is well worth it for the 10x optical zoom that it offers. The biggest downside is the fact that it has no viewfinder - only a 3.0 screen, looks like they're giving in a bit to everybody else. And it's on sale, perhaps a little more than you're looking to spend, but still a pretty good deal for the price.

One other option on the same tier for a little cheaper is the Kodak Z915:

Or, it's big brother the Kodak Z950 (again, a little bit more than you were looking probably...)
