Default Gaming computers - cheap

Im kinda poor (sucks) and i need a gaming desktop for an upcoming Halo 2 tourney. I have only 900$ but i prefer not too spend it all. I was looking at Ibuypower.com but people told me they are bad, also cyberpowerpc.com but they even have a phrase cyberpowerfu*ked. So what gaming desktops can i get that can run up-to-date games like TF2, CSS and MW2. I also am checking out http://www.pugetsystems.com/certified_sys.php?sys_id=15 but they are pricey and http://www.buyxg.com/system/XG_Xion_6000/ seems OK. Opinions please.

just letting you know. 2 weeks is PLENTY of time to get parts and put them together. it's actually quite easy, just about everybody on here will tell you the same thing.
