Default Geforce 6200 - Memory / Bandwidth?

Hello,

I have a couple of models of 6200 that I am looking at for my old Dell.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814133236
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814139043

The main difference is the memory, the first with 256 MB and the other with 512 MB.

I would normally go ahead and grab the 512 MB card but some people have said that this card isn't equipped to handle that much memory -- because of its 64-bit interface -- and as a result it will perform poorer than with 256 MB.

Is this a valid concern?

Thanks.

For the price difference I would just get the 256MB. The 512 wont be slower, its just the chips not really fast enough to access that much memory and be beneficial to the cards performance.

But wouldn't AGP be fundamentally better for video than PCI?
