Default Wanted: Heatsink(Cheap)

Basically, im looking for a heatsink that meets the following criteria:
-Can handle moderate amounts of heat(Eg- Quadcore)
-Not already lapped
-Copper base

Need something that is a tower style heatsink like the arctic cooling freezer series, zalman, etc. Not looking to spend a whole lot, maybe $10-15 shipped.

Basically i need a heatsink i can modify the mounting system for the synthetic test bed i am creating for thermal interface materials so that an equal amount of pressure is used each time every time. The Xigmateks are a great example of the sort of heatsink i am looking for(except without exposed heatpipes)

Dont need a fan, mounting hardware, etc.

If interested....i have a semi- lapped S1283 with AMD mounting hardware that i can trade(includes amd mounting hardware only, no fan clips included so you would need to use zip ties or etc)

No, i need one where the base is separate from the fins. The Xigmatek S1283 is a good example(but like i said before, i cannot use a xig as I need a 100% flat base)

So you don't want to lap the S1283?

What about this heatsink? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835708001

No, thats not what im getting at. I need a solid base as the S1283 has those aluminum pieces between them where thermal interface material can collect in pretty large amounts. Im trying to do testing as scientifically as possible, which is why i need a solid base. Im looking mainly for something used that isnt being used right now and i can get for cheap as im already going to be spending over $100 between a dedicated power supply, peltier, mounting hardware, thermal adhesive, thermocouples, etc.

Okay, I have no idea what you're describing to me, but I probably don't have one.

But you should show an example picture to be more clear.

Heatpipes=Exposed=Not flat

However, the xigmatek is a tower style cooler(Base with heatpipes that go to a set of fins) which is what i am looking for. An Arctic cooling freezer or similar would be pretty much ideal for my testing.
