Default finally got a decent job!

i'll be setting up servers, point of sale systems, building computers, fixing comps, setting up networks, setting up security systems... all sorts of awesome tech stuff! for the first few weeks ill be making servers and building comps all day, next few weeks repairing comps, next month ill be going to strip clubs and casinos (most of the clients) to install security camera systems and the security servers. heck yeah!

gettin paid 12.50/hr to start, 18.50/hour once i start installing security systems. also paid 15 cents per mile, hell yeah!

i love being a geek!

who else has work in this field? lets talk about how awesome it is!

things have been going great. i spent all yesterday rebuilding servers and getting the os's installed n whatnot

pay is great, right around 2400/month. not bad for working a reg 40hr/wk job

time goes by fast doing something you enjoy. i swear yesterday when it was time to clock out i thought it was like 5 hours earlier. didnt even take a lunch break cause i didnt feel i needed one

My job is quite similar but I do mostly on site tech support, sales, and system assembly. I'm getting about $13 an hour, but I'm looking for another job.

the majority of my work is building computers, servers and installing servers. however sometimes i get to mess with remote-pc and help people in town that are running our servers, mostly dental offices. remote-pc is pretty cool!
