I would previously be able to record sound that was coming our the speakers before I upgraded to windows 7 but now I can't. I've went to the nvidia website and selected my motherboard but when I try to install the drivers it just says that its not the right one even though it is. I've gone through all the settings and made very combination of makins things default and unmuting everything but I still can't record any sound coming from my computer/speakers. Is it possible that I just need to wait for a fix on the problem? or is there a different place to install the correct drivers?
I still have the CD that came with the motherboard but it just the installation for vista and xp. I tried installing the sound drivers for vista but it gave me the same error as the nvidia website did. However the XP one worked and installed all the way but I still can't record anything. Please help, I'm once again disappointed at Microsoft for buggy OS
