Default nVidia GTX 285 2GB vs ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB

Well, I got a question...
Wich is best; GTX 285 (2GB) Video card or the Radeon HD 5870 (1GB) Video Card

Are the GTX 285's better because of the 2GB or is the 5870 better because of the DirectX 11 support & GDDR5?

Comparision

The GTX 295 is better than the HD 5870, And it has 1792mb...
Soo, I guess that the dual GTX 285 is better?

Considering the 5870's are currently the fastest desktop card on the market i think this question is silly. The 5870 would wipe the floor with the 285!

+1, ATI is the s**t when it comes to GPUs, not that I don't enjoy Nvidia PhysX, it's just that imo, Nvidia's cards are always over-priced.

Yeah, but one is way better than the other, which means the 285 is still overpriced. An ATI 5850 is what compares to a GTX 285 and you can get them $100 cheaper than a 285. Also, the 2GB 285 is only one card, not 2.

the 5870 competes with the GTX 295... so getting the 5870 is an obvious winner.
