Respital

Just thought it would be a good idea if someone could make and possibly get sticky-ed a troubleshooting guide for laptops because we don't have any stickies here yet and it would be a very good tool to have.

I'm in need of it too since i really don't work on laptops too often, my sister's laptop fails to boot past the Windows screen, so far all I'm thinking is overheating, anymore suggestions?

Well darn... Might have been nice to do if I'd had seen this before I finished up with that Compaq. I tore it down, fixed it, and rebuild it.

One problem though, one of the hardest aspects of laptops is simply tearing them apart and putting them back together. Aside from that, most laptops are pretty similar.
