Rebooted but no sound

I recently had to reboot my computer because of a virus. I didn't have the disk to install my sound, and I have no idea how to get my sound now. I'm not good with computers, so simple terms please.

I do know that I use Legacy Audio Drivers.
I've also already tried re-installing it too.
I'm stumped

what motherboard do you have? give us a model numbner.

Are there any other easier ways to figure out the probem?

I don't know the model number sorry.

Is this an OEM computer such as dell, HP. gateway, compaq? Or is this a custom built computer where someone has put all the parts together for you? We need the manufacturer and model number if its an OEM computer or the model of the motherboard if its a custom built. We can't help you without this information.
