Question Buying a CHEAP gaming desktop...

Hi guys. Recently I posted here that i was having a problem with my pc and beeping... Turns out the mother board is f*cked so to be totally honest id rather get a new pc... im from the uk and id preferably liek to buy it from ebay since its the cheapest site for pc's. I've seen this... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AMD-GAMING-PC-...item1c0cdae92a (sorry for the long link) looks like a handbuild computer... thing is im scared of those things cause i know someone who bought one and it screwed up after a month cause of the poor cable and wire quality in his "brilliant" pc. I mentioned gaming... mainly all i play on pc is WoW but thats because my pc isnt up to date to play any other ones haha. Nah but i mainly leave games to my Xbox 360 but would love to be able to play pc games again. My limit is about 300 quid (pounds) since im very low on cash. I would truely apreciate it if you could show me other bargain pc's on ebay.co.uk (not US ebay please!) i might even be willing to buy a Laptop given that its a good enough price. Thanks a million!

Good price, can't say how good it qaulity it is (probably pretty poor) and remember, there is NO OPERATING SYSTEM. That will cost another 100 bucks.

the seller is actually very clever, imagine how many people will stumble on that in their search for a cheap 1337 gaming rig that will play games. You got to remember we are in a minority, the majority of people don't have the first clue about what is in a computer, hence why people buy alienware computers and by feeding them this garbage, which would seem entirely true to someone not computer savvy, they will make many more sales.

Why don't you build one yourself? It would save money and have better quality...

+1

Building a computer is the only way to go IMO. It's cheaper, it's fun to do, and you learn so much from it.
