My first car was a 1982 Subaru wagon...baby blue with multi-colored cloth inside, 5-speed tranny, and a sun roof...It was my grandfathers and was left to me...put about 70,000km on it and then sold it to buy my first new car!
Have fun with your new rig man!!! no more buses and cabs!!!

First off, congrats on the new car!
Second, my first car was a 1992 Ford Taurus, kind of a really light sky blue, almost silver in some lights. Had that car for about 6 years, had some rings blow on the pistons and had to put a rebuilt engine into her for about $2k. Other than that, it ran great until we took it to the junk yard and found out that the two front springs on the front axle were completely broken through! Good thing I never drove it on the highway all that much...

My first (and only car) is my 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue GLS. Got it with 87,xxx miles last October and I'm already at about 101,000. Didn't have too many issues with it.
when I got it, the heated seats and temperature controls were buggy - sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn't. The cruise control didn't work either. Turns out it was the ignition switch. Pulled it and cleaned it off (some of the contacts were black) and everything worked fine. My heater didn't work either. Had a bad thermostat. Replaced that no problem and I finally had heat! (Bought the car in October so naturally, it was cold out. Drove to school several times freezing my nads off). Every once and a while I would not be able to start the car. Camshaft position sensor was bad. Another easy fix. One night I was leaving work to go pick up my girlfriend (was not my GF at the time) cause we were performing with the band at the basketball game at school. I began pulling out of the parking lot and the car died. At least it didn't die in the street; dangerous road I work on. Couldn't start it at all. She sat there overnight and dad looked at it the next day. The ignition switch was black again, so we replaced it and everything was fine. No other problems with it. It's a comfy ride. Just got new brakes and tires a few thousand miles ago. No more vibrations when braking ![]() Only mods I've done is swap out the head unit and speakers. I plan on putting a better muffler on in the spring, some nice exhaust tips, and a cold air intake if I can find one
