how come its hard to find the ic7-max 3 motherboard online to buy? I have been looking all over the net for it. I might just have to buy it off ebay.

In my opinion, one of the best MOBO that ABIT released based on 875 chipset, good in OC and stable too.

Oi to actually answer the question heehee ... miss that .... it's because the Socket478 platform is discontinued in favor of the newer LGA775 setup and being a S478 board, they stopped making it
