Default how to find out what kind of sound card I have?

I've recently installed a new copy of windows and after that, there is no sound. Windows says a sound device is not installed.
I cannot fix it because I don't have the driver information.
Is there any way that I can find out what kind of sound card I have so that I can download its driver?

Please let me know.
Thanks.

If you get the Aida32 program it should tell you what card you have even without the drivers installed. Its on Major geeks website.
