sound blaster live or built in 3d sound?

i have an asus k8n motherboard with the built in sound. i also have a spare sound blaster live sound card. which one would produce better sound?

Probably the Sound Blaster. I can tell a difference between my riser card and my old Sound Blaster Live.

is there a difference between sound blaster live and sound blaster live 24-bit? i have both sound cards but what one would produce better sound?

A regular Soundblaster live has a 16-bit recording interface, while the 24-bit has a 24-bit recording interface, if you couldn't guess. The recording quality would be better, that's all, unless the newer 24-bit version has any other changes.
