Cromwell, i would like to thank you publicly.
The script works a treat and you can view it here www.simplytrue.co.uk/indexphp.php As you can see i have modified it beyond belief but most of the background work was completed by cromwell. Thanks again. (BTW, i know have to do the same thing for over 20 different categories. Thats gonna take some time!!!!!)

Sorry to grad this old thread back up but im having a problem. This is probably directed at cromwell and mgoldb2. You can see the error at www.simplytrue.co.uk/stocklist/ad_set_stock.php
Error 1046. No idea what its talking about and its got me stumped as i have simply been replicating and copying other php pages that work fine, i havent changed anything and the other scripts work fine. Its just this one, ive already deleted the whole table and created a new one with a differnt name with no avail. It has the exact same properties and fields as all the other tables. Can you help? *EDIT* Sorry, ive fixed it now, turns out there was a spelling mistake in the SQL query function. Strange seeing as i didnt actually edit that page at all.....
