could someone please help me out here? i have a sound blaster audigy 2 card and it's really giving me a headache. whever i try to open any kind of media file with any app be it media player or winamp i get a message to this effect



i can get no sound whatsoever, and yes i've checked, my speakers are fine and the sound isn't muted or something to that effect, i've downloaded the latest drivers and tried to install them but that hasn't worked either, i've tried using the cd that came with it and repair or reinstalling the drivers but when i try that the installation/reparation wizard just tweaks out and disapears in a poof of glitches. if anyone can offer any assistence i'd really appreciate it. thanks a lot in advance
