Default A hack or linux cd to use a tape drive?

Does anybody know if there is a hack for windows xp or if there is a linux live cd that is compatible with a HP Colorado T3000 Tape drive.

I need to backup my pc, I dont have an extra harddrive and i got a couple of old backup tapes [ 3.2 gigs each] and i got to backup around 20 gigs of data. Its the easyest way i think without spending money [ im cheap , plus i dont have money to spend ]....

-any help apreciated

Try this driver: http://netscape.com.com/HP-Colorado-..._4-866203.html (maybe it will work in XP too).
