laptop question?

Excuse me for asking this stupid question but what is an intel centrino mobile technology compared to say a p4? What I want to know is does it do something that a p4 cant? Can you drive down the road and surf the web in your car or something because everyother laptop you can hook up to a wireless network?

go with centrino technology if you want longer battery life. if you are using it as a desktop then get anything that is powerful most hungry machines still last up to 2 hours in battery life.
